At Swenson Shear, customer satisfaction is our priority. Please review our Return and Refund Policy below to understand our procedures and terms for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
General Return Policy
- Restocking Fee: All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Special Order Items: No returns are accepted on special order items.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Damage Claims: All claims for damaged items must be made within five (5) days of receiving the shipment.
- Returns of Custom Orders: Custom orders, including Snaptable orders, cannot be returned once production begins.
Payment Issues
- Returned Checks: A $25 surcharge will be applied to all returned checks.
- Collections: Costs incurred for collections on unpaid balances will be added to the amount owed by the customer.
Refund Policy
- Refunds are only applicable for eligible items returned in accordance with our policy.
- If your return is approved, a refund will be sent as a check through the mail. Refunds may take up to 7–10 business days to process.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Custom Orders (Snaptable Orders)
- A 50% deposit is required for all Snaptable orders. The remaining balance is due prior to shipping.
- Production for custom Snaptable orders begins upon receipt of the deposit.
- Custom Snaptable orders are non-refundable once production has started.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable under any circumstances:
- Special order items.
- Custom orders, including Snaptable products.

How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return:
- Contact us within five (5) days of receiving your order.
- Provide your order number and details regarding the issue.
- Our team will guide you through the return process and provide instructions for returning eligible items.
