In 2014, Stockton-based Pruden Roofing was called upon to install a roof for Oak Farm Vineyards’ brand new 12,000-square-foot winery and tasting room. Situated on 70 acres in Lodi, California, this family-owned winery produces award-winning vintages and serves as an upscale destination venue for weddings, receptions, and other private events.
This standing seam roofing job required 20,000 square feet of 24-gauge Galvalume panels with 1.5-inch snap-lock profiles — all sourced from Kentucky-based Drexel Metals. Each panel measured 19 inches in width and up to 25 feet in length, to accommodate the steep 8/12 roof pitch.

In addition to the steep roof pitch, the building’s unique design called for 16 time-consuming valleys. Normally, installing roof valleys can be a long, tedious process, but thanks to the SnapTable PRO, Pruden and his team were able to breeze through the preparation and installation process.
“Initially, it took me and three guys 3 to 4 hours to install panels on one valley,” Richard Pruden of Pruden Roofing explains. “Once we got the SnapTable PRO, it took us an hour, so it saved us a lot of time. It cut panels, hemmed them, and notched them for us. I think it’s safe to say it paid for itself with this one job.”
