Swenson Shear Announces Flatiron Steel as a Distribution Partner

May 29, 2019 – Ceres, CA – Swenson Shear Inc., the premier international manufacturer of metal roof cutting tools, recently announced its latest partnership with Colorado-based, Flatiron Steel. This partnership provides Flatiron Steel customers direct access to Swenson Shear’s SnapTable PRO® when purchasing their metal roof panels.

The SnapTable PRO, unique to the roofing industry, is a state-of-the-art metal panel preparation tool for roofing contractors. Compatible with any manufacturer’s metal panels or panel roll forming machine, the SnapTable PRO is designed to deliver consistent quality when notching, cutting and hemming for both snap lock and standing seam profiles at eaves, hips and valleys. Eliminating the need to manually prepare metal panels for installation, contractors that use the SnapTable PRO realize a 35% labor cost savings, on average.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with such a reputable company like Flatiron Steel,” commented Morgan Aue, national sales director of Swenson Shear. “With both of our companies focused on the needs of our contractor customers, it seemed natural to partner with Flatiron Steel. We look forward to providing education and support to installers on the many benefits the SnapTable PRO can bring to their businesses and bottom line.”

Some of the benefits of the SnapTable PRO include its versatility by accommodating metal panel width sizes from 12-inches to 24-inches; its ability to produce factory-like cuts on the job site; its significant reduction of waste; its mobility; and its lack of electricity needed to operate. The time saved by utilizing this tool equates to reducing the number of crew on the job – an ideal solution in a market experiencing a labor shortage – as well as the cost savings.

Flatiron Steel Owner, Lee Smith states, “Through this partnership, our customers will have access to information regarding the benefits of using the SnapTable PRO, a product which delivers quality and precision to help our customers fully prepare standing seam panels with added efficiency and consistent performance.”
