How to Adjust a Standing Seam Slitter on the SnapTable PRO®

The panel cutter on the SnapTable PRO may be adjusted to accommodate any metal panel thickness. While roofing contractors typically work with metal ranging from 24 to 26 gauge, the Panel Cutter on the SnapTable PRO may be adjusted to accommodate metal panels as thick as 20 gauge. Depending on gauge thickness, the slitter blade may be lowered or raised up.

Luckily, making this adjustment on your SnapTable PRO is, well, a snap! Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions for how to adjust your standing seam slitter blade on the SnapTable PRO:

1. Loosen the lock bolt on the slitter using a 9/16 wrench.
2. Loosen the nut between the aluminum post and the steel frame.
3. Depending on the depth of the blade, loosen the bolt to tighten the nut or vice versa.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 on the opposite side of the slitter.
5. Once the appropriate adjustments have been made, be sure to tighten the lock bolt on both sides prior to using the slitter.
